Bad start, turned into a good day!

Dropped my oldest off at school/daycare this morning for the second time. He screamed and cried until I was out of sight, then he was fine. How does that work? My thoughts as I left were focused on whether he would make it through the day with out any accidents (he only potty trained about a month or so ago). I had dressed him in shorts that buttoned, and he doesn't do as well in the potty department when he has to fuss with buttons...but as it turned out he made it through the day with no issue! Lesson 1 for the day turned out to be --- don't worry yourself when you drop your screaming three year old off at school. They forget about you as soon as you walk around the corner. Lesson 2 for the day --- have faith in your child's ability to succeed; no matter the obstacles they face...they'll figure out how to work through it:)

"One Size Fits All" does not apply

Lesson for the Day--don't think that just because "it" was right for your first child....that it will be right for your future children. Each child is an individual, and will respond, act, learn, etc. in his own way.
