I VOTE: Long Hair for Toddler Boys

This weekend has produced many comments about my 3 year old son's long hair. His hair isn't down his back or anything extreme, but it's in that "surfer boy" stage and falls in his eyes often. Personally, I love it! Yes, he is pretty, and yes, he is mistaken for a girl every so often, but oh well, that the price you pay when you have a beautiful little boy....I mean, even when his hair was cut short, people mistook him for a little girl! So tell me why family has to voice their opinion on the matter....No, he doesn't need a hair cut...when he is old enough to tell me that he wants to cut his hair....he can. But until then, he will continue to rock a "surfer" style! So...Lesson for the Day: Ignore comments that make you feel like you're a "bad mother" because you don't conform to the norm ....You Are The Mother....and you'll do what right for your child, even if it is a little "outside the box."
